Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that has already been given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. An encrypted connection can be recognized by the address line of the browser switching from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is required for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—especially statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.

External Links

Our website includes links to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Xing. Please note that personal data may be requested on these external websites.

Newsletter Data

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected unless provided voluntarily. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not share it with third parties.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter subscription form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data, email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example, via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of any data processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored with us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you cancel your subscription. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address will be stored in a blocklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. The data from the blocklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be combined with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All blocklisted email addresses are excluded from future imports and mailings, and recipient data is irrevocably deleted from all recipient lists and reports. You can object to this storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

CleverReach

This website uses CleverReach for newsletter distribution. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany. CleverReach organizes and analyzes newsletter distribution. Data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g., email address) are stored on CleverReach’s servers in Germany and/or Ireland.

CleverReach uses this information to send newsletters and to statistically evaluate them on our behalf. For the purpose of evaluation, the emails sent include what are known as web beacons or tracking pixels. These are single-pixel image files stored on our website. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message was opened and which links were clicked, if any. We only analyze this data in aggregate to understand which newsletters were opened and use this information to adapt future newsletter distributions to your needs. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in tailoring our newsletters to meet your needs.

The processing of data is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you object to data analysis for statistical purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this purpose in each newsletter message. The legality of data processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will remain stored with us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, your data will be deleted from our servers and from the servers of CleverReach. Data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for a member area) remains unaffected.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with CleverReach. This legally required agreement ensures that CleverReach processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
