As the Head of Social Media, one of my main responsibilities is to thoroughly understand our clients’ target audiences. This is the foundation of every social media strategy. Starting with the target audience, our team then identifies the right channel or, often, multiple platforms. We develop the appropriate formats for each channel and target audience. Whether video or image, social media allows us to tell stories of all kinds in various ways, tailored precisely to our clients. Social media communication is extremely fast, direct, and dialogue-oriented. Users can easily engage with and influence processes by, for example, providing feedback or asking questions.
The major advantage of social media is that it allows for highly targeted outreach with minimal scatter. A single campaign can also achieve multiple goals simultaneously, such as reach, brand awareness, or engagement. Relevant KPIs and successes are relatively easy to measure, thanks to numerous insights.
Community management is often underestimated and treated as secondary in the field of social media. It requires time, money, and sometimes patience – yet we believe it is essential for a successful social media presence.
